We have expanded our 5-axis milling capacity, increasing throughput for complex geometry orders.
What Changed
We have added simultaneous 5-axis milling capacity to our machining floor. The practical effect for customers is shorter lead times on parts with compound angles, undercut geometry and contoured surfaces — and more room in the schedule for the mixed-part, low-volume orders that make up most of our work.
Why It Matters for Automation Parts
End-of-arm tooling plates, angled sensor brackets and housings with features on several faces are usually machined in multiple setups on a 3-axis machine. Each setup adds fixturing, adds a re-datum step and adds error. 5-axis machining reaches those features in one or two setups, which improves geometric accuracy across faces as well as throughput.
How to Send Work for It
Send the STEP model together with a PDF drawing that identifies datums and any features that must fit after coating. Where a part is weight-critical, tell us which faces carry load so we can plan the setup around them. Quotes still come back within one business day, and typical batch lead times remain 5–10 working days depending on finishing and inspection level.
